Evidence first. Interpretation second. Outcomes reviewed.
Demand Range is an analyst-led method for turning approved public sources—and, where contracted and permitted, licensed sources—into reviewable commercial hypotheses, not claims of private or real-time buyer intent.
The analyst workflow
- Define approved sources. Agree what can be reviewed for the category and geography.
- Review on the agreed cadence. This is defined-scope research, not continuous real-time monitoring.
- Resolve the signal. Connect it to a facility and company.
- Retrieve primary evidence. Preserve provenance, publication and retrieval context.
- Separate fact from inference. State exactly what was observed before commercial interpretation.
- Assess the opportunity. Review product fit, timing, evidence, access and plausible value.
- Map influence. Identify likely buying roles and external project paths.
- Human review. Challenge the thesis, unknowns and recommended action.
- Activate only when approved. Outreach, where scoped, requires client and human approval.
- Record and evaluate. Review outcomes when the client makes feedback available.
Scoring supports judgement; it does not replace it.
Scores organise analyst attention and make the rationale visible. Weighting can be adapted in an agreed client scope.
Data and trust principles
Current operating principles
- Source provenance and recency
- Corrections and visible uncertainty
- Minimum necessary business contact data
- Suppression requirements agreed before activation
- No invented or anonymous intent
- No customer-confidential information presented as market evidence
Future-system design requirements
Any future software or client-data processing would require tested customer isolation, least-privilege access and controls preventing confidential client information from entering market outputs.
Those controls are not represented here as operating in a live software product today.
Learning requires client feedback.
Demand Range can compare a thesis with replies, call outcomes, qualification decisions and pipeline movement only when the client shares that information. Without client feedback, the record can be refreshed against agreed sources, but commercial outcome learning is limited.
